Cheryl A. Mayer, CPA
Principal
Cheryl joined Vrakas as a Principal after the firm merged with Radke & Schlesner in December of 2017. Cheryl has over 30 years of experience in the accounting field and specializes in providing expert tax and consulting services, as well as being a general business consultant to her clients. She also acts as a part-time CFO to one of her respected clients.
Cheryl began her accounting career immediately following her graduation from Marquette University. As the daughter of a CPA, Cheryl has been around numbers her entire life. At a young age she saw the success of her father as he grew his company and decided she wanted the same for her future. She attributes her success to her father, as well as her diligence to always meet deadlines, her day in and day out hard work and always being available to her clients. Cheryl loves what she does and cherishes the relationships she has made with her clients.
Cheryl currently resides in New Berlin with her husband Joe. Together they have three children – Andrew, Kyle and Ryan. Outside of the office she enjoys traveling, sailing, a good game of golf, and spending time with family and friends.
