Pete Sinsky, CPA

Pete joined Vrakas with nearly 30 years of experience in the accounting profession. He is a Partner and Managing Director of our Kenosha Office, Vrakas Advisors LLC. He specializes in consulting, accounting, and tax services for privately held and family-owned businesses and their owners.

Pete has significant experience with construction, real estate, and nonprofit companies. Pete also has significant experience serving retail and professional services clients.

Before joining the firm in 2018, Pete was an Audit Partner at Clifton Gunderson for 20 years and, most recently, the Chief Financial Officer of Riley Construction Company, Inc. for 10 years.

While at Riley, he spearheaded three initiatives that increased profits: moving from traditional insurance to a captive insurance program, enrolling Riley in a select sub-guard insurance program, and implementing a new virtual credit card program to pay vendors.

Pete has received various awards, including the Paul Harris Fellow from the Rotary Foundation, the 2012 Business Journal CFO of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year for the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce/Kenosha Business Alliance.

Pete lives in Kenosha, WI, with his wife. When he is not at work, Pete enjoys golfing and traveling.
