Sandy began her career at Vrakas CPAs + Advisors in 2015. As the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, her primary responsibilities include running the business and overseeing all facets of financial management, human resources, marketing, technology and information systems, general administration, and facility and operations management.
Before joining Vrakas, Sandy was with a law firm in Waukesha County for 16 years, ten of which she held the title of Chief Operating Officer. In addition to overseeing the firm’s business side, Sandy led its strategic planning initiative.
Sandy has been on the Waukesha County Technical College Foundation board since 2015. The foundation’s mission is to secure charitable resources to assist WCTC students in achieving their educational goals. Sandy also sits on the board of the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce. The GBCC serves as a unified voice for area businesses, improving business and the community.
Sandy’s charitable activities include organizing a yearly golf outing for the Children’s Wisconsin Foundation. She and her husband run the outing, which has raised just over $365,000 for childhood cancer research and care. Sandy resides in Greendale and enjoys spending time at her family’s cottage in northern Wisconsin.
