Payton Johnson, CPA

Payton joined the firm as an intern and then joined as a full-time employee at the beginning of 2024 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. As a Supervisor in our tax department, Payton oversees multiple tax engagements while maintaining a commitment to exceptional client service and technical excellence. He works closely with clients to understand their financial goals, proactively identifies tax-saving opportunities, and shares strategic recommendations. Alongside reviewing complex tax returns and projects, he trains and supports staff development, ensures compliance, all while championing the firm’s commitment to quality and client success.

Payton resides in Waukesha, Wisconsin and enjoys playing and watching various sports outside the office, including golf, football, and basketball. He also enjoys participating in fantasy football leagues and weightlifting.
