Emily Sladky, CPA

Emily joined Vrakas in the winter of 2024 with over 15 years of experience in tax consulting and compliance services. She brings strategic leadership and serves as a trusted advisor on complex tax matters. She builds long-term relationships by learning each client’s unique goals and delivering tailored tax strategies that support growth and financial success. With deep expertise in tax structuring, compliance, and planning, she helps clients navigate changing tax laws and find new ways to enhance tax efficiency. She also guides the tax team’s mentorship and training programs, drives business development, and helps expand the firm’s ability to deliver outstanding value and service.

As a graduate of Marquette University, Emily specializes in tax provision and compliance for multi-state corporations, including implementing tax planning strategies. Before joining Vrakas, she worked at a large regional firm in downtown Milwaukee.

Emily resides in Wauwatosa with her husband, four children, and two dogs. Outside the office, she enjoys knitting, baking, traveling, and spending time with her children.
