Jayna Schultz, CPA

As the previous director of the firm’s tax department, Jayna assists in the planning and management aspects of the firm’s tax engagements. In her role, she provides clients with tax solutions that integrate both personal and business financial strategies, ultimately increasing opportunities for personal financial growth.

With over 30 years of experience in the public accounting industry, Jayna focuses on addressing individual and corporate tax needs. Primarily working with privately held and ESOP-owned businesses in the manufacturing, travel, automotive, and wholesale industries, she specializes in minimizing tax liability to help clients achieve greater profitability. She provides proactive, value-added advice by applying the latest tax planning methods to fit unique situations.

Jayna began her accounting career immediately following her graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1983. She joined Vrakas CPAs + Advisors in 1986.

As the daughter of a business owner, Jayna witnessed the importance of accounting in a privately-held business first-hand. As a result of her father’s experiences, Jayna was inspired to pursue a career in accounting at an early age. Today, Jayna’s motivation stems from a personal interest in helping business owners achieve their business goals through strategic tax planning.

As a Wisconsin native, Jayna currently resides in Brookfield. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and playing soccer.
