Chuck Pavlik, CPA

Chuck joined Vrakas CPAs + Advisors in 2011 as a shareholder in the tax department. He provides tax consulting, compliance, and business advisory services to the firm’s clients.

Chuck has significant expertise in credits, incentives, and other tax planning ideas. He has worked with owners of privately held businesses in the manufacturing, construction, retail, and wholesale industries. His extensive experience includes federal and state R&D tax credits, tax depreciation and cost segregation, accounting methods, and state and local tax issues.

Chuck began his accounting career with Pricewaterhouse LLP in 1995, where he was promoted from tax staff accountant to tax director. In 2009, he became a partner at Clifton Gunderson LLP and headed up their federal tax consulting services practice in Oakbrook, Illinois.

Chuck attributes his success to a strong work ethic. He enjoys the challenge of minimizing his client’s tax liabilities. By partnering with his clients, Chuck takes the time to learn their business goals and objectives, allowing him to apply his knowledge to any recent tax law changes.

Chuck lives in Delafield with his wife and two children. He enjoys playing golf and attending his children’s events when not at work.
