Brian Kaker, CPA

Brian joined Vrakas CPAs + Advisors in 2010 and is currently a principal in the firm’s tax department. He brings strategic leadership and serves as a trusted advisor on complex tax matters. He builds long-term relationships by learning each client’s unique goals and delivering tailored tax strategies that support growth and financial success. With deep expertise in tax structuring, compliance, and planning, Brian helps clients navigate changing tax laws and find new ways to enhance tax efficiency. He also guides the tax team’s mentorship and training programs, drives business development, and helps expand the firm’s ability to deliver outstanding value and service. Brian graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, receiving his master’s degree in 2010 and bachelor’s degree in 2009.

Brian grew up in Cedarburg and currently resides in Milwaukee. He enjoys living in the active downtown area and spending time with friends. In his free time, he races with the Project Echelon cycling team.
