Maria joined Vrakas in 2023 with four years of prior accounting experience. As a Senior Associate in our Kenosha office, Maria applies her accounting skills in our Tax and CAAS departments, providing both tax and client accounting engagements with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional client service. She works directly with clients to collect and validate information, oversee day-to-day accounting functions, prepare financial reports, and address accounting and tax-related questions and challenges.
Maria reviews work prepared by associates, prepares complex tax returns, mentors and trains team members, and helps ensure projects and engagements are completed timely and accurately. By helping clients interpret financial information, identify trends, and implement effective processes, she supports sound financial management and operational success. Maria also stays up to date on changing tax laws to identify planning opportunities and bring proactive solutions to every client engagement.
