Senior Audit Associate – Wisconsin

The following responsibilities, opportunities, and qualifications for this position are as follows:  

Responsibilities & Opportunities 

  • Lead and mentor internal associates as they complete audits, reviews, and compilations 
  • Assists in the management and development of associates through the execution of assurance tasks 
  • Build technical skills and in-depth knowledge of client services while working across various industries 
  • Regularly collaborate with shareholders, managers, and other internal leaders 
  • Client collaboration to work through assurance engagements  
  • Participate in various training and CPE programs to ensure professional development 
  • Travel is expected, as needed, to meet firm and client needs 

Qualifications 

Required Qualifications  

  • 3+ years of experience providing assurance services in public accounting  
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or equivalent 
  • Must possess the necessary credit hours to be eligible for CPA licensure  
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations  
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 with a strong understanding of Excel and Word  
  • Ability to address requests from clients and the firm in a timely, precise, and professional manner 
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills   
  • Effective in both independent work and team collaboration  
  • Ability to consistently perform services with integrity, reliability, and accuracy  

Preferred Qualifications  

  • CPA designation  
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Teams and Zoom  
  • CCH accounting software experience, including Workflow, Engagement, and Practice Management
