The responsibilities, opportunities, and requirements for this position are as follows:
Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Advisory
- Lead an established portfolio of closely held business tax clients, primarily within construction, manufacturing, real estate, and distribution industries
- Provide forward-looking tax planning and advisory support aligned with each client’s business goals
- Maintain and deepen client relationships while identifying additional ways to add value beyond compliance
- Oversee and review complex tax work, including business, personal, and trust filings, and key transactions
Firm Leadership & Collaboration
- Contribute to firmwide strategy and growth initiatives as an active member of the Kenosha leadership team
- Partner across service lines to deliver integrated solutions and a seamless client experience
- Support team development by providing guidance, feedback, and day-to-day leadership
Growth & Market Presence
- Build on existing relationships to drive organic growth within key industries
- Stay active in relevant business and community networks to enhance the firm’s visibility
- Play a role in shaping the direction and continued evolution of the tax practice
Requirements
- Certified Public Accounting license
- 10+ years of public accounting experience with increasing leadership responsibilities
- Background serving closely held businesses, particularly in the construction and manufacturing industries
- Strong technical knowledge with tax planning and compliance for pass-through entities and individuals
- Proven ability to manage client relationships with confidence and professionalism
- Leadership style that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and team development
- Business-minded approach with an interest in contributing to firm growth and long-term success
- Clear and effective communicator, both internally and externally
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on involvement in client work
