How to Scan Documents on a Samsung Device (Android)

Scan Using Samsung Notes (Best for Multi‑Page PDFs)

Samsung Notes includes a secure PDF scanner that keeps files stored locally unless you choose to share them.

1. Open Samsung Notes

  1. Open the Samsung Notes app.
  2. Tap the icon in the bottom right corner (square and pen) to start a new note.

2. Access the Scanner

  1. Tap the Plus icon in the upper-right corner of your screen.
  2. Select Scan.

3. Scan Your Document

  1. Position the document in the camera frame.
  2. Tap the Camera Shutter button to scan.
