Top Workplaces 2025
Vrakas was named a Top Workplace by the Journal Sentinel for the sixth consecutive year. To receive this prestigious award, our employees were surveyed anonymously. The feedback received was then compared to that of other companies of our size and ranked accordingly. Vrakas ranked 15th out of 77 companies in the small commercial category.

Top Choice Award 2021
Vrakas received the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Top Choice Award in the “Accountant” category. The public had to vote for your company to receive this award. In the first round, the public wrote in different firms. In the second round, the Top 5 write-ins made it to the voting ballot.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel recommends that the public use the 2021 Top Choice Award winners as a guide for the best that our community has to offer. Thank you to our valued clients, referral sources, and friends who voted for us!
Community Service Award – Organization (2019)
The Community Service Award is one of 10 annual Excellence Awards celebrating the achievements of WICPA members and their employers. This award recognizes an organization for its community service contributions at the local, regional, or state level. Recipients have initiated or increased their community service activities and reinforced the profession’s reputation for commitment to the public good.

Waukesha County Awards Gala (2019)
Vrakas was nominated for Medium Business of the Year at the Waukesha County Awards Gala, which was hosted by the Waukesha County Business Alliance. The Alliance, Waukesha County, and the Waukesha County Center for Growth worked together to honor top-performing businesses and nonprofits that have a significant presence in Waukesha County and are making our community a great place to live, work, and play.
