Position Overview

Primary responsibilities will include assisting the tax shareholders and department with various levels of support. This individual will be working from our Brookfield Office.

Tax Department Support Specialist duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Check in and assign tax returns
  • Assist with logistics of work flow
  • Scheduling meetings, internal and external
  • Monitor staff availability
  • Potential involvement in recruiting for department
  • Assist with scanning documents and filing same in appropriate locations
  • Take ownership of investment advisor statements
  • Organize departmental training
  • Coordinate delivery of returns near deadlines
  • Eventually responsible for 8879’s and master tax list
  • Prepare billings

  • Work experience, especially previous public accounting experience, a plus
  • Proficient with technology – MS Office, Teams, Zoom, CCH Tax Products
