Brad Kussow

Brad has 25 years of public accounting, private industry, corporate finance, and consulting experience. Prior to joining Vrakas in Oct 2022, he was a CFO of a multi-segmented middle-market electrical contractor.

At Vrakas, Brad specializes in planning and executing audit engagements and providing specialized audit, review, and consulting services in the construction, manufacturing and distribution, professional services, and real estate industries.

Brad also has significant advisory services experience that includes a variety of transaction advisory service projects for private equity and corporate clients. He has experience leading buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence projects, providing sell-side support for investment bankers and their clients and identifying working capital requirements.

Throughout his career, Brad has developed his expertise working closely with business owners, senior executives, and private equity investors over hundreds of audits, due diligence projects, specialty consulting projects and other initiatives. He strives to help and bring value to clients by understanding their specific objectives and risk areas.

Examples include leading multi-national audits, opening balance sheet audits, due diligence projects, purchase price arbitrations, identifying working capital and purchase price adjustments resulting in significant savings, and establishing a FP&A function resulting in a 13 week cash flow projections, multi-divisional budget process and transforming a fleet management operation.

In Brad’s free time, he enjoys coaching youth athletics, the outdoors, and spending time with his family. He previously served six years as Board Member, Executive Committee and Treasurer of the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin and seven years on the Finance Committee at Betty Brinn Children’s Museum.
