Vrakas starts 2017 Charitable Organizations Drawing

Vrakas starts 2017 Charitable Organizations Drawing

During our prime time (January 9th – April 18th), Vrakas is holding a weekly drawing for a chance to win a week of indoor parking!

Each week an employee can donate $5.00 and their name will be entered into a drawing to win a week of indoor parking in our office building. The donation is in support of three charitable organizations:

  1. Friends of the Waukesha Public Library
  2. Elmbrook Humane Society
  3. Interfaith Senior Programs, Inc.

Vrakas chose these organizations because one of our employee’s is actively involved in each:

  • Mary Ellen, Tax Principal, is the treasurer for Friends of the Waukesha Public Library. Friends support the Library’s mission to be the community’s best source of inspiration, ideas, and information.
  • James Broughton, Tax Manager, is the treasurer for the Elmbrook Humane Society. The organization provides shelter for homeless animals, promotes the human animal bond, and prevents animal cruelty and neglect.
  • Lastly, Jim Holmes, Managing Shareholder and President of Vrakas, is on the Interfaith Board of Directors. Interfaith Senior Programs is the nonprofit leader in creating communities where seniors are fully embraced through collaborative partnerships, coordination of services, and intergenerational volunteer activities.

Vrakas believes it’s extremely important to give back, even during our busiest times.
