Jayna K. Schultz

As the shareholder-in-charge of the tax department, Jayna is responsible for the planning and management aspects of the firm’s tax engagements. In her role, she provides her clients with tax solutions that integrate both personal and business financial strategies, ultimately increasing their opportunity for personal financial growth.

With over 30 years in the public accounting industry, Jayna focuses on solving her clients’ individual and corporate tax needs. Primarily working with closely-held businesses in the manufacturing, travel, auto, and wholesale industries, she specializes in minimizing her clients’ tax liability in order to help them achieve greater profitability. She provides proactive, value-added advice by applying the latest tax planning methods to fit each client’s unique situation.

Jayna began her accounting career immediately following her graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1983. She joined Vrakas CPAs + Advisors in 1986.

As the daughter of a business owner, Jayna witnessed the importance of accounting in a closely-held business first-hand. As a result of her father’s experiences, Jayna was inspired to pursue a career in accounting at an early age. Today, Jayna’s motivation stems from a personal interest in helping business owners achieve their business goals through strategic tax planning.

A native Wisconsinite, Jayna currently resides in Brookfield. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer.
